Our eBusiness Approach Strategy & Implementation Clients embarking on eBusiness Strategies and implementation projects have many questions to answer before getting started:
The first stage is concept and strategy development. Do you understand what this channel can offer, and how will customers use the service? What level of investment do you want to make, and what is the likely return on investment? The second stage involves detailed implementation planning, including detailed business cases, vendor evaluation and project set up. At this stage, the end to end business processes need to be determined. These may include processes for stock control, provision of customer service, fulfillment, payments, and returns handling. Management of the project is the third stage. Not only the actual system development and implementation, but also areas such as usability testing, training, and the introduction of new processes. We ensure the highest standards of business ethics and integrity are maintained in all our projects by limiting the number of assignments undertaken by our associates, and appointing one of our principals to oversee all engagements. In this way, we are able to constantly monitor the quality of our work, to provide a successful outcome to you, our client. Multidisclipinary Teams
Our implementation teams are multidisciplinary, to ensure we deliver a solution
that meets the needs of you our client, and your customers. It is our contention that in order for a web site to serve the desired purpose, it is necessary for all elements associated with the use and management of that site to be covered. It is the balance of these items which we believe make our methodology compelling. As the diagram shows, we believe that there are five areas which need to be covered when designing and building a site. The relative importance of each will vary, depending on the site in question, and the function it is to perform. The important point to remember, is not whether technology forms X% of the effort, or User Interaction Y%, but rather that all five elements are considered and the appropriate action taken according to the needs of the site being developed. |
